For our traditional big ol’ Christmas blowout, we’ve invited of our all-time favourite breweries – the immaculate Burning Sky Brewery – to Port Street to takeover our taps across TWO bars. Upstairs and downstairs.
The great WIZARD KING will be performing LIVE upstairs (some time after 7pm) so expect Wizard-forward songs of yore (and Christmas) and anti-elf propaganda.
We’ll have a winning line up on cask and keg, with a few bottles in the fridges for kicks.

Back with another big thick gose! Bitter Sloe, sharp tart Raspberries and sweet Blackberries combine beautifully and it’s got that body! Mega.
ACID RAINDROPS 6.8% Sour IPA (Simcoe Cryo | Ekuanot)
This is the style I want to drink most at the moment, and Simcoe Cryo is the hop I want most in it, and this is absolutely nails on the beer that it should be and you should drink it too.

2019. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Typical year stuff, really. The world is burning but the beers have been great. It’s the Port Street end of year survey!!! The greatest time of the year!! We want to hear about which beers shook your world this year and just what was good, in general. As per usual, we will do a big ol’ summary post about everybody’s responses early in the new year. Keep calm and drink beer 🤣🤣🤣

This collaboration with Cigar City Brewing is one of our all-time favourites. Caribbean Chocolate Cake is a dense, rich and luxurious stout brimming with hand-roasted cacao nibs selected by the esteemed Willie’s Cacao, and harmonised by Cypress wood spirals. Pure canned indulgence.
Caribbean White Chocolate Cake
7.4% Tropical White Stout
This is a brand new spin on Caribbean Chocolate Cake, one of our all-time favourite beers, brewed in collaboration with Cigar City Brewing. Our mind-bending tropical white stout features some of the key notes of the original in a guise you would not expect. Hand-roasted cacao nibs selected by the esteemed Willie’s Cacao are accentuated by vanilla and cranberries and harmonised by Cypress wood.
Death By Caribbean Chocolate Cake
9.1% Imperial Tropical Stout
This is the doubled-down version of one of our all-time favourite beers, Caribbean Chocolate Cake, brewed in collaboration with Cigar City Brewing. Expect even more hand-roasted cacao nibs, even more Cypress and Amburana wood, and even more pure canned indulgence.
Barrel Aged Caribbean Chocolate Cake
9.4% Barrel Aged Tropical Stout
This is a special barrel aged version of Caribbean Chocolate Cake, one of our all-time favourite beers, created in collaboration with Cigar City Brewing. Our dense, rich and luxurious stout has been maturing in bourbon barrels, picking up delicious vanilla, whiskey and oak character.
