We are excited to announce that the excellent Burning Sky, masterful brewers and blenders, takeover Port Street for a full FOUR DAYS during the course of IMBC 17.
Look out for wall to wall Burning Sky across cask and keg. There will be specials galore, tasting pop-ups, vintage numbers, and basically all things Burning Sky. Further information on specifics coming soon.

– Almasty Tap Takeover and PSBH Collab Launch
ALMASTY TAP TAKEOVER and PSBH COLLAB LAUNCH

We are delighted to welcome Almasty Brewing Co. (Newcastle Upon Tyne) to Manchester for a tap takeover AND the launch of the Almasty x Port Street Beer House collab, an as yet unnamed Snickers inspired stout.
Almasty is a search to create uncompromising big, bold flavours. A showcase for fresh, seasonally inspired ales from brewer Mark McGarry. The only constant is change.

– We now do pies and scotch eggs
HUZZAH!
We are now living in a post-crisps/nuts age. Well, we still have those pub classics but now we also serve pies and scotch eggs courtesy of Manchester makers, Beehive Food. It’s a brave new world. Would pair perfectly with…you guessed it…beer.
Among the Beehive delights we’re currently serving are a Goat’s Cheese and Red Pepper pie, Bramley Apple Pork Pie, Manchester Egg (Scotch egg with black pudding(!) surround), Breakfast Egg (Scotch egg with all the fun of a full breakfast), and a Falafel Egg (Scotch egg with vegetarian compatibility).
What a time to be a pie. Come get that wonderful stuff!

HARD SHAKE / Imperial Milk Stout / 10.7%
A stronger, more opulent version of Wiper and True’s original Milk Shake recipe with lavish amounts of chocolate malts, vanilla and the addition of cacoa nibs. Contains lactose.
COLUMBUS / Amber Ale / 5.3%
Single hopped with the US hop Columbus. Rich, sweet malts combine with notes of plum, black pepper and a hint of liquorice.
RED ORANGE / Amber Ale / 5.2%
Rich malts, bright orange citrus. Brewed with fresh orange zest.
QUINTET / IPA / 6.5%
Motueka, Mosaic, Ahtanum, Comet and Simcoe hops unite to create a beer of immense character, flavour and depth.
KALEIDOSCOPE / Pale Ale / 4.2%
Citra, Equinox and Simcoe hops unite to create a beer that is harmonious, light and refreshing.
MOSAIC / Pale Ale / 5.7%
Single hopped, exploring the magnificent Mosaic hop. Sharp citrus, blueberry and resinous pine.
