Lake District legends Hawkshead Brewery come a-knocking to our upstairs bar at Port Street to recreate a little of their taproom magic with beers on tap AND gift packs, cans, and bottles to drink in or take away. Tis the season to stock thine fridges.
We will also be packing a couple of Hawkshead casks on the main bar because…well, it’d be rude not to.
Good friend Will France from Hawkshead will be repping the upstairs bar fulfilling all your glasses and providing Hawkshead chat and swag.

Hawkshead’s beery take on a Mulled Wine – a Berliner style beer, brewed with mixed spice and orange peel, finished with pomegranate puree and hibiscus bringing a deep rich red colour to the beer.
Tiramisu Imperial Stout | Cigar City Brewing collab | 10%
Inspired by the classic Italian dessert, Tiramisu, this is a strong stout, made with coffee beans (blended and roasted by Mr Duffin’s Coffee of Staveley) and 8 varieties of malt. Rich, luscious layers of coffee, mocha and cream flavours.

For our traditional big ol’ Christmas blowout, we’ve invited of our all-time favourite breweries – the immaculate Burning Sky Brewery – to Port Street to takeover our taps across TWO bars. Upstairs and downstairs.
The great WIZARD KING will be performing LIVE upstairs (some time after 7pm) so expect Wizard-forward songs of yore (and Christmas) and anti-elf propaganda.
We’ll have a winning line up on cask and keg, with a few bottles in the fridges for kicks.
